Holiday Date Outfit: Online Date Edition

Sporty Chic

It’s that time of the year, you’ve watched The Holiday, you’re open to all of the new possibilities of what and who might come from an online date, but you don’t have your holiday date outfit picked out.

Holiday Date Outfit: The Bumble Blind Date

It starts with that pit in your stomach and then the awkward walk-in. Is he there first, who will approach who first, will you recognize each other? Next, you see him, your eyes connect and you are either over the moon because he actually looks like his pictures or the pit in your stomach has grown the size of Jupiter and all you can think about is a way to escape the horror of Chad who said he was 5’10 but is really 5’7 and a half.

There are so many things to worry about before that first online blind date, let’s not make choosing one of your holiday date outfits one of them! These options will work for coffee (on second thought let’s switch it up and make it a Dunkin Doughnuts coffee date), happy hour, or a jolly day hike.

Jolly Date Hike

If you are going on a hike with your Bumble date, you are braver than I! I hope you brought a flask. 😉 When hiking with your potential suitor, you need to be comfortable, but you also need to feel cute. There is a healthy balance between trying too hard (Outdoor Trail Guide) and looking sloppy. Leggings make up the foundation for your outdoor expedition and depending on where you live, they should be thick enough to protect you from the elements. Frenchie not included but highly recommend dating someone with a pooch!

Frenchie optional but highly recommended.

Add a cute hoodie which will come in handy if your ears get cold.   The kangaroo pocket keeps your hands warm too!

Part of the Nike Jordan line (only select retailers sell this line).

I am a huge fan of denim jackets as a layering piece (they go with just about anything!) and I am loving this fur-lined Levis denim jacket circa 1981.

Feeling a bit frisky…Who says you can’t wear a dress hiking? This UGG sweatshirt dress can be worn alone or with tights/leggings.

Athleisure and sporty-chic outfit options for the beloved online blind date.
$18.99 is a small price to pay to avoid meeting an online date that does not measure up to his/her profile. 😉

Y’all in true 2021 fashion, I didn’t have time to finish this blog (okay, that’s probably a lie, I did have time but I procrastinated; however, I have all the details on styles (brand, price, where to purchase) available here!
